Frequently Asked Questions

  • You may purchase concert tickets online at theodeontheater.com. When you check out, the Shopping Cart screen will offer the option to use your PayPal account OR to make your purchase using your debit or credit card without a PayPal account. After you complete your purchase, you will receive an email from PayPal confirming the transaction, whether you used a PayPal account or your debit or credit card. That email is your receipt.

    Your name will appear on our check-in list on the night of the performance. We do NOT issue tickets for the concert performances.

    If you prefer not to purchase tickets online, you may:

    • Mail us a check. Please make checks payable to the Odeon Preservation Association and mail to Concert, P. O. Box 700, Mason, Texas 76856.

    • Email us at concerts@theodeontheater.com to reserve tickets in advance of the concert, then bring a check or cash to the theater on the night of the performance. We will put your name on the WILL CALL list at the door.

    All sales are final.

  • The theater box office opens 30 minutes before each movie screening for ticket purchases. Tickets purchases are cash only.

  • We do not offer refunds. All sales are final.

  • The Odeon offers open seating. Seats are not reserved. When the doors open (usually 45 minutes before the performance), you may select your seat. All theater patrons are seated. There is no standing room.

  • Yes, the Odeon Theater is available for private movie screening parties. If you’re interested in hosting a private party, please contact our concessionaire, Rebecca Schuessler, at schuesslerfarms@hotmail.com. Party hosts are responsible for paying the film licensing fee (typically $50 - $300 depending on the film), plus a theater fee of $125. Please note that movies owned by Disney are not available for our private screenings.

    If you are interested in booking the theater for other events, please contact the Odeon Preservation Association at notify@theodeontheater.com with your request.

  • To provide a safe and enjoyable experience for patrons of the Odeon Theater, we expect everyone at the venue to adhere to our Code of Conduct. The purchase of a ticket to or attendance at the Odeon Theater is your agreement to abide by our Code of Conduct. This includes patrons, guests, staff and volunteers.

    The Odeon Theater operator or OPA Board reserves the right to ask someone to leave or remove or ban any person who does not adhere to the Code of Conduct.

    We do not tolerate:
    • Disruptive behavior, including, but not limited to, inappropriate talking during movies or performances
    • Inappropriate use of cell phones, including, but not limited to, texting during a movie or making a phone call
    • Public intoxication
    • Smoking or vaping inside the theater
    • Inappropriate physical contact
    • Bullying or harassment
    • Unapproved photography or video recording

  • The Odeon hosts a free Classic Movie Night the third Wednesday of every month. If you’re interested in sponsoring a movie, we’d love to hear from you! Selections can be made from the American Film Institute’s Best 100 Movies of All Time list, as well as the AFI’s Top 10 lists by film genre. Sponsorship includes the licensing fee for the film, which ranges from $75 to $450, plus the $40 distribution fee. We’re happy to highlight your sponsorship in our promotional materials.

  • Before each movie showing, the Odeon displays a continuous loop of slide and video ads for Hill Country businesses and community services.

    REQUIREMENTS

    Ad files must be provided by the advertiser. The ads are limited to one change of the ad per quarter free of charge. Videos need to be discussed in advance with Kyle Martin at 210-705-9407.

    If you need assistance in creating a slide or video, Kyle Martin at JackrabbitStudios.com can be hired separately to create the ad.
