Bill Worrell and Eric Thienes

The Odeon Theater is pleased to host the premiere of “Emerging from the Garden of Thorns: A Documentary on Artist Bill Worrell.” The film captures the heart and soul of renowned local artist Bill Worrell, in his own words and those of his family, friends and proteges, including, among many others, locals Spider Johnson and Wallace Bosse and musicians Jay Adams, Sam Baker and Kix Brooks. In the film, Worrell shares his personal story, his perspectives on life and the roots of his creativity, illustrated with touching and humorous anecdotes, including an adventure with Robert Redford. But most of all, he expresses the immense joy he takes in sharing his life and creative energy with those around him. The film, by Erik Thienes, also features Worrell’s original music.

Showtime: Saturday 10:30 am
Admission is free.
