The Exorcist: Believer is a direct sequel to the 1973 The Exorcist. When two girls disappear into the woods and return three days later with no memory of what happened to them, the father of one girl seeks out Chris MacNeil, who's been forever altered by what happened to her daughter fifty years before.

The film stars Leslie Odeom Jr., Ann Dowd, Jennifer Nettles, and Norbert Leo Butz, along with Ellen Burstyn and Linda Blair reprising their roles from the original film as Chris MacNeil and Regan MacNeil, respectively.
