Two Tons of Steel, known for their signature brand of high-energy country, has rolled out a new Buddy Holly Tribute that they are bringing to the Odeon Theater on May 10. The show, which received rave reviews when it debuted at the Brauntex Theater in New Braunfels, is sure to be a highlight of our 2025 concert calendar. The band, featuring front man Kevin Geil along with JD Larish on bass, Stephen James on lead guitar and Rich Alcorta on drums, was named "Best Country Band" by the San Antonio Current ten times, with Geil also nabbing 'Best Male Vocal' honors four times. The group, which performs about 200 shows each year, also won the Ameripolitan Honky Tonk Group of the Year in 2019.
Two Tons of Steel continues as an institution at Texas’ Gruene Hall, where its annual Two Ton Tuesdays summer series draws 12,000 fans and as a popular act at Nashville's Grand Ole Opry. The band was filmed during a “Two Ton Tuesday” gig for the IMAX film, "Texas: The Big Picture," which can be seen daily at the IMAX Theatre in the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin. The band's performance of "King of a One Horse Town" is included in a roots-country documentary that screens continuously at Nashville's Country Music Hall of Fame.
Tickets are $25 per person if purchased in advance and $30 at the door (cash only at the door). Tickets may be purchased below with a credit card or Paypal. All sales are final.
